N-BOC-D-天冬氨酸 4-苄酯 - Introduction
tert-Butoxycarbonyl-D-aspartic acid 4-benzyl ester (Boc-D-aspartic acid 4-benzyl ester) is an organic compound. The following is a description of the properties, uses, preparation and safety information of the compound:
Nature:
-Appearance: White crystalline solid
-Molecular formula: C16H21NO6
-Molecular weight: 323.34g/mol
-melting point: 104-106 ℃
-Solubility: Soluble in common organic solvents (such as ether, methanol, ethanol)
Use:
-tert-Butoxycarbonyl-D-aspartic acid 4-benzyl ester is mainly used as a reagent in biochemical research, used to synthesize or modify other organic compounds.
-It is often used in peptide synthesis as a protecting group for aspartic acid to protect the functional group on the amino acid side chain and perform a deprotection reaction when needed.
Preparation Method:
-Generally, Boc-D-aspartic acid 4-benzyl ester is prepared by the reaction of aspartic acid. First, aspartic acid is reacted with acetyl chloride (AcCl) to give an aspartic acid acetyl ester. The acetyl protected aspartate acetyl ester is then reacted with tert-butoxycarbonyl chloride (Boc-Cl) to give tert-butoxycarbonyl-D-aspartate 4-acetyl ester. Finally, tert-butoxycarbonyl-D-aspartic acid 4-benzyl ester can be obtained by esterification of benzyl alcohol and a base.
Safety Information:
- Boc-D-aspartic acid 4-benzyl ester generally has low toxicity, it is still necessary to take appropriate protective measures during operation, such as wearing gloves, goggles and laboratory coats.
-Avoid contact with skin and inhalation of dust.
-Store it in a dry, cool place, away from fire and oxidizing agents.
-When handling and disposing, please follow the relevant safety operation procedures and regulations.
